NORC statisticians and research scientists routinely perform a wide variety of empirical analyses in the areas of economics and population; education and child development; health; substance abuse, mental health, and criminal justice; and statistics and methodology. In the past three years alone, these analyses have resulted in over 400 publications, including journal articles, books, conference presentations, encyclopedia entries, NORC reports, agency reports, and monographs, as well as methodological reports for clients. Nearly 300 of these publications have appeared in refereed journals or as books or book chapters.
