Education and Employment Data from the
National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1997
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has released a report that briefly examines education and employment data from the first seven rounds of the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth, 1997 cohort (NLSY97). The title is "America's Youth at 18: School Enrollment and Employment Transitions Between Ages 17 and 18." This report is particularly important as it is one of the first BLS releases using the NLSY97 data. Although journalists and policymakers are the primary audiences for this report, each respondent also will receive a copy.
